In partnership with our parent company, Ahold, we have developed a comprehensive benefits program designed to satisfy the needs of all associates. Eligibility for benefits…
The benefits offered by ASC are plentiful, and they have been designed with both you and your family in mind. For protection today we offer coverage including medical, prescription, dental and vision care. Associates can also enjoy vacations and personal time (nonexempt associates) or take advantage of tuition reimbursement, an adoption benefit plan, and Flexible Spending Accounts (health care and dependent day care).
The future is impossible to predict, but you can approach it more confidently as we offer a 401k with a weekly company match, pension, life insurance, and an Associate Stock Purchase Plan. Both full-time and part-time associates are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month that follows an initial thirty days of service. American Sales Company shares the cost of benefits with full-time associates. Part-time associates are eligible to purchase benefits (excluding life insurance) at the company group rate.
